Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.

I’m so glad that I’m back in touch with my highschool friends because they truly have left footprints in my heart. You don’t realize it until you finally meet and talk about all the memories you’ve had together. I guess sometimes you get caught up in creating the future (college, work, etc.) that forget about the past and how happy you used to be (when things were so simple!!).

Yesterday I had to be strong and not let my emotions take over. Nya came over to visit and have some “sagebbi” (spaghetti). We played with the Barbie toys that I got her and watched Spy Kids 3 TWICE! OH MUN! I had so much fun though. What was so hard was seeing the change in her face and in her hair. The last time I saw her was when she just got diagnosed, so seeing her all chubby with her hair almost gone was so shocking and sad to me (she was still cute though). Hopefully, she’ll be back more often now that she’s in remission.
