My coworker bought one of
these for her office and now I WANT ONE! I want one for the house, though... This would be perfect because I'm the ONLY one that drinks coffee in the house and it would prevent having to make just half a pot AND we wouldn't have to worry about cleaning a pot or a filter anymore! It would be SOOOO much easier..... BUT.... I don't think it's very environmentally friendly because everytime I'd be using it, I'd be throwing a K-cup which isn't recyclable =( BOO... So now I'm torn... What to do... What to freakin do....
I guess if you think about it........... even though the K-cup is not recyclable and I'd putting more waste into the environment, at least I'd be using less water from not having to clean a pot anymore??? That's kinda offsetting it right? AND................ if I'm making coffee for a large party, instead of having to use multiple K-cups which would put a lot of waste into the environment, I can just use a coffee press!!!
Ok so yay! I think I'm going to get one!!! Hahaha... We have so many Macy's giftcards from the wedding.... we can definitely get one there for free!!!
