Day 1

Lisa and Art went to Boston so we've been delegated to babysit AJ & Emmalie during the night and all day Saturday. We picked them up at Auntie Lorna's (Thank God she lives in Foxwood!) right when we got home and brought them to Blockbuster to pick out their favorite movies so we could watch them for the next couple of days. Emmalie picked out Bratz kids Fairytales and AJ picked High School Musical 1 & 2. Once we watched Bratz and some of HS 1, we read them their books and put them to bed at around 9 p.m. Of course it took a while for them to actually go to sleep but they were out by 10 p.m..... You'd think we'd be all good by then, and we'd have our good night's sleep... Haha. Yeah right, here's why:

1. They brought these sleeping bag/aero bed things to sleep on and BOY were they HELLLLA NOISY!!! MUN!! Squeakiness GALORE!! Just imagine hearing balloons rubbing all night.. That's what we heard. So even though AJ & Emmalie slept through most of the night, we didn't.

2. Emmalie woke up twice in the middle of the night. One time to sleep with her Ninang... and then another to pee and then sleep in our bed again (we put her back on her bed the first time). Mind you, we have a full sized bed, so with Emmalie taking up space like a bed hog, we weren't that comfortable.

So yes, we are tired... but it wasn't so so bad. I'm just thankful Emmalie didn't cry in the middle of night saying she wanted her Mommy cuz I don't know WHAT we would've done.... MUN.....

So now, they're back at Auntie Lorna's. I dropped them off after we fed them and made them brush their teeth. Hopefully when we pick them up they'll be fed and bathed like yesterday... It made our babysitting duties a LOT easier, hahaha.
