Have you ever wondered how dirty your sponge was? I try to buy a new sponge every month, but still... for the amount of times you use it and clean either raw foods or moldy tupperwares, it makes you wonder how sanitary is it? Anyway, I found this link on how to clean a sponge.. Apparently just nuking it in the microwave for a minute does it! (As long as it doesn't have metal in the sponge).
