Wow! What a Weekend!

Saturday:
Went all the way to Stockton to go to my co-worker, Chris’ wedding shower. It was at his parent’s house... Their house was hella nice! When you enter, there’s stairs that lead you upstairs to the dining room, kitchen and master.. then on the first floor is their living room and 4 other rooms. The set up is really cool. Whats really nice is that the Delta is right behind their backyard, so their dining room has a GREAT view... So nice. If I had to live in the boonies or in Stockton, it would be in his neighborhood, rather than the newer developments in Stockton. I just love older houses and more established neighborhoods.. His neighborhood hella reminded me of the neighborhoods in Mountain View.

Anyways, it was nice to finally meet my co-workers’ wives and fiancés. And it was also nice for them to finally meet Jason. They’re so cool. It was honestly my first coworker party that I’ve ever attended. Lame but true. I’m not much into coworker parties and stuff. Maybe because I don’t do well with large parties with unknown people... But, I hella owe it to Chris, since for me and xtine’s party, he came all the way down from Sac just to party with us in the city.. dedications dude.

Sunday:
Went to see my new nephew!!! ISAIAH MARQUEZ DAVIS, Janice and Kenny’s baby. He is 20 inches and he weighs 7 lbs. & 12 ounces. So cute. He has Janice’s eyes (OH MUN) and Kenny’s nose. But you know how it is with babies, they totally change their looks as they get a couple months older.

Later we went to Santana Row. Had lunch as we strolled along their farmer’s market to eat all the free samples.. hahaha. Then we went to Burke Williams to pamper ourselves with all their free amenities (the steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, mist room). By 3 p.m. we had our massages and later went shopping for a bit. We shopped at Santana Row and later realized that we needed to go somewhere a little bit cheaper. And where did we go??? Forever 21!! Hahaha... Always dude.
Why spend hella money on fashion that will last for a season right? After we shopped we headed back to my place and surprise surprise, we come home to find Jason and Ro cooking dinner for us... Our entrees? Garlic buttered shrimps on skewers, grilled steak with brown sauce, grilled asparagus, penne pasta with shrimp, and to complete the night, a fruit tart for dessert. Jason and Ro did this all by themselves... MILAGRO! Me and Lot were pretty shocked and VERY impressed. After dinner, we watched Diary of a Mad Black Woman and called it a night.

Now it’s back to work. Uggh. I hate waking up so damn early!!!
