Finally!

Finally! We signed for the Mendota house last night.... Thank God. And you know what, I guess the wait WAS worth it because somehow our mortgage payment went down by a couple hundred dollars and our closing costs went down a by a couple thousand. WHOOHOO!! If all goes well, we should have the keys by Tuesday!!! I CANNOT WAIT!!! We should take pictures :) I feel like Carl & Ellie (in "UP") when they first got their new house, hahaha.... I mean, I KNOW we had Foxwood, but this is me and Jason's first house that we bought together and as a married couple.... it just makes it THAT much more special :)

Anyway, we got HELLA SHIT to do in that house ... paint, carpeting, light fixtures, and just small ass crap that we gotta deal with, but at least we ain't in a rush since we got my parents place to crash... Hopefully it'll take us about a month to take care of everything.

Now that the house is ALMOST officially ours, the stress of having to pay 1.5 mortgages is starting to kick in ....... FRIK... We can do this though! It looks SAFE on paper, we just gotta be very diligent about limiting our unneccessary expenses... Wish us luck. We definitely need it.

I just hope for one thing - for the Eclipse to not die on us! MUN!!! Now that my Dad is planning to donate my civic :( we won't have any fall back options... and we FOR SURE can't afford to get a new car... so hopefully Jason's Eclipse can hold out for a while... at least until next year... MUN. What are the chances......
