Worst Proposal Idea EVER
My carpooler this morning told me about this story she heard on the radio... It was about a guy who bought his lady a $60K engagement ring. He wanted to propose to her in a unique kind of way, and what does he come up with? He decides to put the ring in a balloon so that she can POP the balloon as he POPs the question to her... So he goes to the store, has the ring put in a helium balloon, leaves the store, and of course the worst has to happen - the balloon slips his fingers and goes sailing off in the sky. OMG. Can you imagine seeing your $60K ring drift away in the sky??? I think I'd have a heart attack! Anyway, apparently he drove for like 5 hours trying to find the ring and had no luck. He told his would-be fiance about the story and she said she wouldn't be engaged to him until he bought her another ring (knowing that he just spent $60K on the one he lost!!). I'm not sure if he had the ring insured, but mann... if he didn't.... THAT SUCKS.
